While reinventing a franchise is good when done right....redoing a movie just to redo it(because you don't have original ideas) is another. Batman Begins/The Dark Knight=awesome, and well done after the nipplesuit bat-crap we've have previously had. But, Land of the Lost? I think if it does as well as the series did, it had failed its premise of being better, I've seen a few ep of the original on SciFi and laughed at it(for ridiculousness, in a BAD way). The studio's are like music execs in the 80's(RATT, Quite Riot, and the crappier groups that tried the same formulaic approach(Note: I like a few songs by the two groups stated above, usually their Only hit)). Now we call these wannabee groups, 'tribute' groups for they couldn't do it on their own and now copy the famous groups in a 'good' way.

This seems to be an era of no 'NEW' ideas, rather new ways of using old ideas in mostly boring/crappy ways.

Sorry for the Flame-ness of this entree....

Glad you liked my Gundam models.

Just because of your fav, the next one I post will be the XXXG-01D2 Gundam Deathscythe Hell Custom from Endless Waltz!

...originally planned on posting my Strike Freedom Master Grade "Full Burst" but, what the hey, you inspired me!

Oh!?!

thanks.

The Endless Waltz version of the D-Hell is really extreme, and very distilled to be truly an art piece in motion(of destroying your MS). It's sort of the kind of MS that the members of KISS would have in their repertoire(I mean, come on, Spiky toes/'bat' wings/etc.).

Is Ample enough?, just depends on what "Ample" is to you...
I have only one complaint about it and it's this very reason that I prefer the TV version over the Waltz version -- there is no custom paint job over Deathscythe's helmet like the TV version. UNFORGIVABLE!!!!

Yeah, that was cool, they must have forgot and or added detial to the Heavyarm's face(The Clown Mask Trowa only in Gundam Size).

Each version had a different mech designer that did the Gundams -- Kunio Okawara did the TV versions (he designed the ORIGINAL Gundam back in 1979 and has been w/ the co. ewer since) & the "Waltz" versions were done by the ever-popular Hajime Katoki (hence the first two letters of his last name whenever you see the title "Ver. KA", which stands for "Version KATOKI"). I guess Katoki just choose not to add the paint job....

...BOOOOOO!!!
